Use the Fixed Ground Mount if you don’t have a wall or a post to fix your Hoselink Retractable Hose Reel bracket to.

This optional extra can be used on concrete, timber decking and tiled floors for a safe, secure and easy way to hold your retractable reel.

Hoselink’s Retractable Hose Reels require a stable bracket/footing to function properly. Once the Fixed Ground Mount is secured to the ground your Hose Reel will rotate as required.

Please Note: All Retractable Hose Reels are pre-boxed with a Wall Bracket and the package cannot be altered. The Fixed Ground Mount is an optional extra sold separately.

Fitting Instructions

Overview:

Use the Fixed Ground Mount as a template to mark where to drill
The hardware pack contains 4 x stainless steel screws, 4 x masonry plugs and 4 x washers to secure it to the ground

Tools:
Electric hammer or rotary drill with a 12mm masonry bit for brick or masonry OR electric drill with a 5mm timber bit for timber; hammer; socket set (10mm bit)

Brick or Masonry Wall:
Drill 4 holes with electric hammer or rotary drill (using marked holes) with 12mm masonry bit, 60mm deep. Hammer in the 4 plugs. Attach the Fixed Ground Mount using the 4 screws & washers.
Tip for drilling brick or masonry: Mark and drill two holes. Line up the Fixed Ground Mount on the two drilled holes then mark the next two. Once marked, drill the final two holes. This method helps to get the alignment right.

Timber:
Mark and drill 4 holes with a 5mm timber drill bit, 60mm deep. Attach the Fixed Ground Mount using the 4 screws & washers. No plugs required.
