How to connect Hoselink to fertiliser and weed spray bottles

Compatibility with Fertiliser Bottles

Hoselink fittings are compatible with weed-and-feed style fertiliser bottles.

What You Need

To attach Hoselink to a prepackaged fertiliser bottle you need a Click-On Adapter Set.

Instructions

To use, simply point and twist the Hoselink Accessory Connector to your hose and click the Click-On Adapter to your fertiliser bottle.

You can also use just the Click-on Adapter by unscrewing your spray gun attaching the thread end of the Click-on Adapter in its place.

NB: The Click-On Adapter is not Hoselink designed and is not covered by our no-burst guarantee.

Compatibility with Sprinklers & Sprayers

Hoselink fittings are compatible with other brands of sprinklers, spray guns and nozzles by one of two connection methods.

Recommended - replace the old fitting with a Hoselink connector

Unscrew the click-on fitting from your sprinkler or watering accessory and replace it by screwing in Hoselink’s Accessory Connector.

If you have multiple accessories, then replacing each one with a Hoselink Accessory Connector will make it easy to switch your hose between accessories with a quick ‘point and twist’.

Alternate option - use a Click-on Adapter

If the click-on attachment on your watering accessory is moulded in or won’t unscrew, then you'll need a Click-On Adapter or Click-on Adapter Set.

This is essential with weed and feed type sprayer bottles with built-in click-on attachments.

To use, screw a Hoselink Accessory Connector into the Click-On Adapter and connect the Click-On Adapter to your spray gun or sprinkler.

As the Click-On Adapter is not Hoselink designed, it is not covered by our no-burst guarantee.

Compatibility with Pressure Washers

Hoselink fittings are compatible with Gerni, Karcher and other brands of pressure cleaners and ensure a secure and stable connection between your hose and pressure cleaner.

What to Do

At the water inlet on your pressure cleaner, it will either have a male thread or a female thread. All pressure cleaners are different.
To find out what type of thread your pressure cleaner has, unscrew the click-on fitting from the water inlet on your pressure cleaner.

What to Buy

If your pressure cleaner has a male thread (that is, an external thread) you need a Hoselink Tap Connector.
If your pressure cleaner has a female thread (that is, an internal thread) you need a Hoselink Accessory Connector.

Fitting Instructions

To connect your Hoselink fitted hose to your pressure cleaner, simply attach a Tap Connector or Accessory Connector to your pressure cleaner (depending on what type of thread your pressure cleaner has). You can then connect your hose with a quick ‘point and twist’ for a burst-proof watertight connection.
